LEKH : An essay on my friends

My head is a collection of slow-moving images, which are moving inside my head, all the time, randomly! we generally called them memories, but I can't able to remember them as memories, If they don't have any emotions attached to them, It's a mental construct in my architecture of existence, that's why I like to describe them as SLOW MOVING IMAGES, I can't able to remember these memories, If no stories are attached with them, If no emotions are attached with them, so my memories aren't just memories in my head they are full blown stories, that ready to be told in those strange goofy nights, where everyone is sharing their adventures.

हम मिल ना पाएंगे कभी

उनका हाथ थामना, मेरे लिए उनके पुराने दर्दो को सिचना था, मेरा उनके अंदर डूबना उनको पाना नहीं बल्कि उनको समझने का एक प्रयास था, उनकी काली घटा हम पर बरसती थी, और हम उसमें रोज भीख सा जाते थे, वह मनोहरनी आंखें झुकती थी, हमारी तरफ रुकती थी, हमारी आंखों से अपना पता पूछती थी, और हम कुछ ना बता पाते थे, उस पल, उनकी मुस्कुराहट इस समय से पार निकल जाती थी।

ILLUSION OF FORCES

On a fine night, while crossing the road, cutting through the heart of the traffic, my eyes got stuck on a young kid who seems to be 4-5 years old, observing the stationary cars stuck in the traffic through the window of his car, while his dad was driving the car in the opposite direction of the traffic. Suddenly, I got transported to my childhood. When I used to do the same, I remember that I got confused at that time.

LAST LEAF: ON THE SHRINE OF MY BELOVED'S HEART

Your heart is a cold winter, when I meet you for the first time, your tears tell me a tale of long unbearable nights, where your tears went on to become an entire ocean itself, I know, I can never heal the broken and paralyzed part of yours, but I can become the warm summer which your heart was always craving for, you always ask me 'why you felt so warm, dude' and I think it's because my love is not limited to my gesture only but my whole body loved you in way that it acts according to my thoughts, it wants to become the warm summer for you in his (my body) own way.
